Eyes Ethiopia

As part of the social project "Pick a Pocket" in Ethiopia in 2011, several series of pictures on the theme of "Eyes" were created, they tell stories of hope, love, faith born of despair, hunger and suffering.
A series of b/w photographs are intended to encourage the viewer to look more closely in order to understand and internalize the conflict of tradition and modernization in the eastern part of Africa, and the effects of this on the people living there, especially children.

All images were taken with an analog Rolleiflex SL-66 medium format camera and digitized for quality post processing.
